KIOGE — 30 years: from major oil and gas projects to new energy value chains and international partnerships

From September 30 to October 2, 2026, Almaty will host the anniversary edition of KIOGE 2026 — the International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition.

From September 30 to October 2, 2026, Almaty will host the 30th Anniversary International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition — KIOGE 2026.


For three decades, the event has brought together government authorities, national and international companies, operators of major projects, equipment manufacturers, technology providers and oilfield service companies.


In its anniversary year, KIOGE 2026 will bring together 500 companies from 30 countries, further expanding its international presence and the range of technologies and solutions on display. A&B Technology, ATV Kazakhstan, Terranova Kazakhstan, Temir Paint, Corrocoat Caspian, Maqsad Petroleum, MIS Kazakhstan, Chemelex and other companies will participate for the first time.


Exhibition business program

On September 30 and October 1, Pavilion 8 will host a practice-oriented business program. Companies will present technology solutions, real-world case studies, procurement programs and cooperation opportunities in the oil and gas sector.


Key topics will include the use of AI in EPC projects, improving well productivity, digitalization of oil and gas processing, procurement and supplier qualification. NCOC, KPO and Tengizchevroil will present their procurement procedures and opportunities for suppliers, while WPC Energy will introduce the 26th WPC Energy Congress, which will take place in Astana on June 11–15, 2028.


30th Anniversary KIOGE International Conference

The centerpiece of the event will be the 30th Anniversary KIOGE International Conference, to be held on September 30–October 1 at The Ritz-Carlton Almaty under the theme:

“From megaprojects to market leadership: Kazakhstan in the global energy mix.”


The conference will focus on Kazakhstan’s role in the global energy sector, the development of major projects, international cooperation, new technologies and industry transformation.

Highlights of the anniversary conference will include a strategic dialogue involving ministers from Central Asian countries, the presentation of the National Energy Report, meetings with executives of national companies and major project operators, as well as a special session featuring prominent figures from the oil and gas industry.


On September 30, participants will discuss:

  • Kazakhstan’s role in new energy value chains and international technology partnerships;
  • the development of geological exploration, digital technologies and artificial intelligence in upstream;
  • export logistics and alternative routes;
  • practical digital transformation case studies;
  • low-carbon development, ESG and climate regulation;
  • oil and gas engineering and petrochemicals.


The first day will conclude with an awards ceremony and a screening of the KIOGE anniversary film, dedicated to the project’s 30-year history.

On October 1, the program will continue with discussions on the development of the gas and gas chemical industries, the energy balance and nuclear power. The agenda will also include a WPC Energy presentation, the practical session “Turnkey GR”, the anniversary session “Industry legends: challenges and achievements”, and a PR & HR business simulation organized jointly with Harvard Business Impact, focusing on leadership amid change and the advancement of artificial intelligence.


A platform for new partnerships

KIOGE 2026 will combine an international exhibition, practical knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue, creating opportunities to showcase advanced technologies, develop business connections and establish new areas of international cooperation.


The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Akimat, KAZENERGY, NC KazMunayGas JSC, PSA, IMBC, Energy Monitor, KazService and PETROCOUNCIL.KZ.



KIOGE 2026 is organized by Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca in partnership with international partner ICA Events.
