“Corrosion Protection 2026”: One of the Key Events of the Year in Anti-Corrosion Technologies
From April 22 to 24, the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg will host the International Exhibition and Congress “Corrosion Protection”, a major industry event focused on advanced technologies and solutions for industrial corrosion protection.
The exhibition and congress will bring together leading manufacturers, equipment and materials suppliers, as well as representatives of the scientific and engineering communities. Participants will present the latest developments aimed at improving the reliability of process equipment, pipelines, and steel structures in the fuel and energy sector, and will discuss effective approaches to safe and long-term operation.
Exhibitors will include Khimservice, NPO Neftegazkompleks-EKhZ, Pipeline Systems and Technologies, NS Gas Equipment Plant, Zinker, Constanta, NPO SpetsPolymer, and other Russian and international companies.
In 2026, one of the key topics of the event will be cooperation among fuel and energy companies in jointly addressing corrosion protection challenges, consolidating accumulated experience, and developing common standards and coordinated approaches to anti-corrosion protection. This will help identify promising areas for further research and development. Specialists will also discuss effective protection methods using innovative laser technologies, modern approaches to electrochemical protection, trends in the production of advanced protective coatings, the results of technology implementation at industrial facilities, and the current state of standardization in the field.
The central event of the exhibition and congress will be the scientific and practical conference “Current Issues in Corrosion Protection”, which will bring together representatives of specialized divisions of fuel and energy companies, research centers, and manufacturers of protective coatings and equipment. Participants will include Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Transneft R&D Institute, Gazprom Neft, TMK, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and others.
A Business Contact Center: Industry Days will operate at the venue, providing manufacturers and leading customers in the market with an opportunity to hold direct negotiations, establish partnerships, and exchange experience.
Throughout the event, participants will be introduced to the practical aspects of applying corrosion protection technologies. Special master classes on zinc coating application will demonstrate the coating process in full compliance with all technical requirements. Master classes on creating barrier anti-corrosion protection using innovative laser technologies will also be held.
The International Exhibition and Congress “Corrosion Protection” will take place simultaneously at Expoforum with the Russian International Energy Forum, the Housing and Public Utilities of Russia International Exhibition, the Water Resources Conference and Exhibition, and the Pipeline Valves and Pumps Exhibition.
In 2025, the event attracted 8,000 specialists from 11 countries, including China, India, Belarus, the Republic of Korea, and Kazakhstan. The congress program featured representatives of 80 companies, as well as 29 speakers and 146 delegates, who presented developments and high-tech solutions meeting current industrial requirements.
