At Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia, construction of key infrastructure facilities to be completed in 2023

As part of the activities, it is planned to complete the construction of the second gas pre-treatment unit (GPTU-3), new production wells and the central booster compressor station.

The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the ongoing work on implementing the Eastern Gas Program.

It was noted that the Company continues to actively develop the gas industry in eastern Russia: it performs the pre-development of new gas production centers, builds high-tech gas transmission systems and creates gas processing capacities.

In 2023, the construction of the key infrastructure facilities will be completed at the Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia, including, inter alia, the gas pre-treatment unit (GPTU-4) and new production wells. Taking into account the facilities that had been put into operation earlier, this will make it possible to bring the field to its full design capacity in 2024, i.e. on schedule.

As part of the activities aimed at the gradual increase of gas production at the Kovyktinskoye field in the Irkutsk Region, it is planned to complete in 2023 the construction of the second gas pre-treatment unit (GPTU-3), new production wells and the central booster compressor station at the existing GPTU-2 at the field.

The increase of the Power of Siberia gas trunkline's throughput progresses simultaneously with the development of production capacities. This year, the loopings (pipeline segments that are laid parallel to the main pipeline string) continue to be built at the gas pipeline section from the Chayandinskoye field to Blagoveshchensk. A total of 578 kilometers (39 per cent of the design length) of the pipelines have already been built. Moreover, it is planned to complete the construction of second compressor workshops at a number of active compressor stations in 2023.

The construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant is underway. The plant will provide the output of additional products from the multi-component gas extracted from the Chayandinskoye and Kovyktinskoye fields. The project is 88.5 per cent complete.

Gazprom is steadily developing the Sakhalin gas production center. For instance, the capacities of the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas trunkline are being expanded and the further development of the Kirinskoye field is being continued.

The issue of the ongoing implementation of the Eastern Gas Program will be submitted for consideration by the Gazprom Board of Directors.
